"The 3rd San Fernando Girl Guides unit is part of the larger World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world. We are a service-based organisation. Our unit has 70 Senior Guides and 25 Rangers, making us the largest unit in the country. Our mission is to enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world. Our girls cover a curriculum ranging from health to creative arts, character and intelligence to service. Through these, we aspire to develop girls and young women who influence issues they care about and build a better world. Meetings are facilitated by Mrs. Debra East, Ms. Vonetta Grant, Mrs. Sherry-Ann Hamilton Philip, Ms. Arkenna Mc Leod and Ms Shenelle Jeanville"

The 3rd San Fernando Ranger Guides presented for World Thinking Day an Exhibition at the Carnegie Library San Fernando with the theme "We Can Save Our Planet" from the 29th February to 9th March 2012.
